Flame Cheater is pleased to announce the launch of their Fire Suppression Systems using 3M^TM Novec^TM 1230 Fire Protection Fluid.

Novec^TM 1230 fluid has low toxicity, zero ozone depleting potential, an atmospheric lifetime of 3-5 days and a global warming potential of 1. Novec^TM 1230 fluid is the first Halon replacement to offer a long-term sustainable technology.

Novec^TM 1230 fluid contains neither bromine nor chlorine and is safe to use in occupied areas. It will protect most hazards traditionally protected by Halon 1301, and will be particularly important in Marine applications and others where high margins of safety are considered crucial.

Flame Cheater units will be available with electrical, mechanical and automatic (sprinkler bulb) operation.
