MARINE ALARM PANEL
INSTRUCTIONS
The panel will give a rapid warning of an extinguisher discharge or
a rapid signal from the heat detector. It will monitor up to 2 zones.
It is suitable for 12 or 24 volt systems.
INSTALLATION
A Control Box
Remove the four fixing screws and gently lift front panel by easing
the grommets out of their slots. Fix the box in position using the screws
supplied. Drill 2 x 4mm diameter holes adjacent to the ends of the box
to enable the cables to feed through behind the panel.
Re-fit the panel to the box ensuring grommets fit snugly, and taking
care not to strain the cables.
B Pressure Switch
Wire pressure switch once panel and AU wiring are firmly fixed.
C Sensor
Fit sensor as near as possible to engine and wire accordingly.
CONNECTION
Power input Output to Extinguishers
Red and Blue +ve Red / Blue Sensor 1
Green -ve Yellow / Green Sensor 2
Fuse
100mA for 12 volt systems, 200mA for 24 volt systems.
NOTE : When installing, please ensure that the display is located a minimum
on 1m away from radar sets, VHF and other electronic and radio equipment.
Please also ensure that the cable to the sensor is routed away from
likely sources of interference.
OPERATION
When power is available the “Power” LED will be on.
The “Test” button will confirm the system is operational
by illuminating the “Zone” LED’s and sounding the alarm.
